Introduction


This booklet presents principles of life and spirituality that are the marks of the members of the Salettinian Lay Associate. They enrich the lives of each one of us. Their influence on us is perceptible to the members of our family, to our circle of friends, the primary community in which we live and even to our colleagues with whom we relate professionally.

We hold to these principles and we express them clearly through our deportment. We visit them every day in this small manual. We live them as our acceptance of Jesus' directive to us, "Love everyone as you love yourself." We live them and even communicate them to others according to the mandate of Our Holy Mother at La Salette, "Well, my children, make this known to all my people."

We wish to share this treasure of life with all of you, friends, brothers and sisters in the faith. We extend this manual to you in the hope that you will use the message in these pages well. We hope that they will instill in you the same zeal for prayer and penance that they instill in us. May they be a source of inspiration for you on the road of Faith. Enjoy this with wisdom so that you and we can be holy protagonists of new times.
